FinBank's existing mobile banking application had a dated interface with poor usability metrics, leading to low adoption rates among younger users and high support call volumes. The client needed a complete UI/UX overhaul that would appeal to modern users while still being intuitive for their traditional banking customers across all age groups.
Our Approach
We began with extensive user research, including interviews with diverse customer segments and analysis of support call logs to identify common pain points. We then created detailed user personas and journey maps to guide our design process.

Solution Approach
Our design team created a comprehensive UI/UX design system using Figma and Adobe XD, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and ease of use. We implemented a modular design approach with customizable components that adapt to user preferences and behavior. The interface features progressive disclosure principles, revealing complexity only when needed, with clear visual hierarchy and feedback mechanisms. We designed intuitive navigation patterns with convenient shortcuts for common tasks, and incorporated personalized insights that help users understand and manage their finances better. The design system includes comprehensive dark mode, high contrast options, and was tested extensively with screen readers and other accessibility tools.
